20 August 2014 Dear All,
Can a Company Secretary of a holding Co. be appointed as CS in its subsidiary Co, too (both the Cos. are required to appoint KMP under Companies Act 2013 but required to appoint Company Secretary)?

21 August 2014 But sir, acc to sec 203 a kmp can be appointed in its subsidiary too.if we file mr -1 for cs then we can appoint him/her in its subsidiary.Kindly suggest.

24 August 2014 Kindly appreciate the position of CS is a statutory position and a CS cannot be CS in any other company and you cannot file form DIR12 2 times for a CS.

KMP like CFO or CEO is a different thing and they may be appointed in more than one group company.
