Application of C Forms

03 December 2009 Querry: we have filed the original VAT return for Jul-Sep-09 quarter and has also filed applicaion for obtaining 'C' Forms. After few days it was detected that few purchases from out of Maharashtra were not accounted for the above said period.
hence a revised return for the period Jul-Sep-09 was filed. Meanwhile when we made an application for C Forms for purchases not accounted earlier,for a second time, the site shows an error stating that an application has already been made and second application stands rejected.

Please let us know why the department has rejected the second application for C Form?

03 December 2009 if prescibed time limit has over, department will reject the application.
you can put that detail in subsequent quarter, if material have been received to you in subsequent quarter.
but before that you must ask to department, whether you can or not.
though one Trade circular No. 70T dated 6-12-2007 is already issued by Commissioner of Sales Tax, Mumbai in this regard
