I want to know if a doctor doing himself operative his private clinic then does he is liable to pay VAT on drugs giving by him at his clinic or not ?

kindly clarify me

Yes he is liable to pay vat @5% on the mdicines sold by him to his patients in his clinic.....MJK

but how to calculate VAT in dr. fees which including drugs & consulting fees

He should issue a bill separately for the value of medicines and show VAT collection in it. He should also take registration under VAT Act, if the total sales goes above Rs 5 lakhs in a year.
