Which answer pattern scores more while writing Short note of a topic in Income Tax- 1. An answer given only in some paras,
2. An answer with some headings like 'Applicability', 'Conditions to be satisfied', 'Rates' etc. in separate paras.
Please give me advice.

It doesnt matter whether the question is small or big. Presentation matters a lot - nicer the better. So yes, if you can manage the option 2, it would be really great.

Thank you very much sir.. Actually I did not take any tuition for Tax and so I was thinking that I have to write in the manner in which that particular topic has been written in Tax laws. Thank you again.

there is no harm in writing that way. its just that you need to be very well prepared for it. If you are, you will score a hell lot of marks.
