is it mandatory for IT Dept to send notice to every credit card holder when they receive A.I.R., when payment of credit card exceed 2 lacs.

if some transactions are reported in AIR and the said person has either not filed the return or has not reflected the transactions in the return, Income tax will send notice to ensure no income has escaped taxation.
