Ammendment of master data form 2

We have an existing Pvt Ltd Co (2008). We have filed Form No 2 (Ordinary resolution) for issue/allotment of additional shares. and the said form is approved under Straight Through Process ib Oct-11.

However, the said allotment is not reflected in MCA Master Data till date.

We tried to file form for correction of master data, resolution, and the supporting documents Form 2, payment challan, approval of Form 2 etc. But ROC people have not accepted the request saying that you need to make the necessary changes in annual return for year 2011-12 in Form 20B

is their contention correct?

The ROC people are correct. When you file your Anual Return for the Year 2011-12 on the basis of that they will change your master data. You can not make application for correction of Master data on the basis of Form-2.

Yes, they are right. Master data will automatically gets updated with filing of annual return.
