Air allowance without boaring pass

10 January 2014 IS it any provision regarding the air travelling allowance will be disqualified if Boarding pass is not attached.
If a person claim in co. air ticket booking exp without Boarding pass. so it will be allowed as exp in income tax or not.

10 January 2014 you should normally disallow it as it often happens that tickets are cancelled and refunds are claimed from the airlines and reimbursement is claimed from the employer

16 January 2014 Dear AM asking for Audit Purpose. & in closing meeting we have to prove why its Disallowed.
For disallowing is it anywhere mentioned or any rule.

16 January 2014 Lack of audit evidence is sufficient for disallowance...why not flip it around and see whether AO will allow it if no evidence is produced for backing up the claim???
