03 February 2013 asse earned only agriculture income.which itr i file and how to file for loan purpose only.pls answer immediately.

03 February 2013 For those who have only agricultural income you need not to file income tax return(even though for bank loan purpose also). For such case MRO certificate is required and sufficient for bank loan purpose. Still you want to file income tax return you can file but no use because of Agricultural income is exempted income so in your return form your total income column show ZERO(0) then no use for your evidence of income.

So go to the bank and explain there is no provision to file income tax return only for agricultural income and shall we get MRO certificate for the evidence of agricultural income arising. Then also required to file income tax return and you wanted then you can file it in ITR-2 but no use to tile return because of your return filed acknowledgment shows ZERO income i.e nil return.
