What is difference between Inventory & stock Both phases Theorically as well as Practically?

Inventory in a broad term and it includes the stock in trade.

As per Accounting Standard 2, Inventory includes raw materials, work in progress and stock of finished goods.

Both are interchangeable. No, much difference.
But sometimes, the word "stock" would mean "equity stock or preferred stock". i.e. equity shares or preference shares
