01 May 2010 Sir,i completed my m.b.a. Presently iam working wit a manufacturing unit since a year no iam preparing for interviews how should i?what r the best books for basic accountanny & finance and sir in one they asked me the question on types of BRS contingent liability and difference between journalvs geneal entries olease help me

and wanted to know about taxation ,how tds is calculated & filed please help

01 May 2010 I would llke to suggest you to refer some basic accountancy books for the Journal entry,BRS,Contingent liability.but in a simple word you can tell

Journal entry: used for passing non cash transactions

BRS: Statment for which prepare t know the difference between bank and book balance of bank account

Contingent liablity which liability arise based on some future event happen or not happen

For Taxation , TDS refer some simple tax books
