24 November 2010 Can you please explain the following sentence in relation to AS 16 - Borrowing Cost:

> This standard does not deal with the actual or imputed cost of owners' equity, inclding preference share capital not classified as a liability.

25 November 2010 cost of owners equity means the cost of bringing equity shares and preference share . hence the AS-16 dealing with Borrowing cost, the above cost cannot be considered as borrowing cost
