i am form orissa and i purchase material from pune (maharastra) computer software what is the system about vat it is taxfree or ??????????

It is an interstate transactions, will be paid CST, if you have option to issue C form for purchase of software you can pay CST 2% otherwise you need to pay Pune local VAT rate as CST
