15 April 2014 Dear all,
Please advice can we issue receipt in back date of an NGO ?? as we have received donation of Rs. 10 lacs on 29.3.14 by RTGS, receipt was not issue , after that we have started to issue receipts of April month, can we issue it now. In which date please tel.

15 April 2014 you have to receipt of cheque/rtgs/neft/cash in same date in which date you received the donation

15 April 2014 Party has made donation on 29.03.14, after that we are issuing receipts for month of April. So i am asking that in which date we should issue the receipt ?? so that the donar can get rebate of 80G in FY 2013-14

if you know the accounting rule that in cash and bank .
receipts should be issue on the same date when you received. pls issue receipt on receiving date.
