Can you please clarify the applicability of work contract service on repair work which involves material and labour. Service provider is an individual and service receiver is registered with ST Deptt.

06 August 2013 i) Service tax attracts u/s 65(105)(zzzza).

ii) Rate of tax may be determined as per notification 24/2012.

iii) If service receiver is a 'corporate' reverse charge provision has also to be looked into.
