17 September 2010 can sum1 tell me the full provision regarding work contract under service tax.its urgent n tell me as soon as possible.

17 September 2010 Some contracts are related to both i.e Services & Material Part.Where both the things are included in contract than you have to charge service tax 4.12% on gross amount (10.30% on 40% of Bill Value), than it will attract both the statutory liability TDS & WCT.
