Why can't private company adopt table a?

04 March 2014 Hello. I was wondering as to why is it that a private company cannot adopt table A, and has to have it's own articles.

04 March 2014 well because they have the option of choosing their own mode of functioning which may suit them more than what is prescribed in the Table A

04 March 2014 Even a public limited company has the option of choosing their own mode of functioning, but they also have the option of adopting Table A. Is there any specific reason as to why a private limited company is not given the same option?
