29 December 2010 sir, i was a student of p.e.II and i passed second group of p.e.ii and after this i converted myself from p.e.ii to ipcc and now i want to start my articleship on the basis of conversion. so will you please tell me about which form will be required to start article ship and what is the fees for article ship commencement. i also comepleted ITT. and deposited re- registration fees for ipcc.

ELIGIBILITY TO TRAIN ARTICLED ASSISTANTS (AS PER THE REVISED REGULATIONS )
The Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988 with regard to the eligibility to train the articled assistants has been amended vide Notification dated 17th August, 2007. (Refer September 2007 issue of the CA Journal). As per the amended Regulations, the eligibility of practising member to train articled assistant/s is as under.
TABLE-I
(Applicable to members practising the profession of chartered accountants in his individual name or as proprietor or as partner)
Category Period of continuous practice Entitlement of articled assistant or assistants
(i) An associate or fellow in continuous practice for a period up to 3 years. 1
(ii) An associate or fellow in continuous practice for any period from 3 years to 5 years. 2
(iii) An associate or fellow in continuous practice for any period from 5 years to 10 years. 7
(iv) An associate or fellow in continuous practice for any period from 10 years. 10
TABLE-II
(Applicable to members who are in full time salaried employment under a chartered accountant in practice or a firm of such chartered accountants))
Category Number of full time salaried employees —irrespective of whether associate or fellow Entitlement of articled assistant or assistants
(i) Up to 100 1 per employee
(ii) Between 101 and 500 100 +50% of such employees above 100
(i.e., a maximum of 300)

1. haspassed entrance/foundation/p.e.-1/cpt/p.e.iioth group sof ipcc and atc
.
2.has passed group I of ipcc or atc and already registered . passed goup ii of ipcc
3. hass passed group i of ipcc or atc and wiches to entroll for group ii of ipcc

and as per icai e shayaata they are saying that there rs. 2000 will be charged as article registration fees. please make it confirm.
