Dear Sir
We have given comprehensive AMC to our vendor .Where he has to supply material along with job work.In his proforma invoice he is leving both Service tax (12.36% on assessable value)& CST 12.50% (ON 60% of assessable value). Pls clarify whether wct is applicable in this case if yes then how much.

Yes. It is a good case of works contract. Service tax, he needs to levy on 40% of the value.
