Whether it is compulsory to file DIN-3

Our Company was Incorporated in 2003. Now in December 2010 we appoint additional DIRECTOR.
Pls let me know whether DIN-3 is required to be filed.

No need to file DIN 3 since appointment is after 01/07/2007.
