My Articleship started on 08.10.2010 and is to be ended on 07.10.13 ( a period of 3 years).

when will be my Final attempt????

02 June 2011 but as per latest announcement pee2 students are eligible for the final attempt pending 12 months of article training and some of my friends who got registered at the same time got their final attempt on Nov 2012

03 August 2025 Got it! Here’s the scoop:

Your articleship started on 08-Oct-2010, so it’s supposed to end on 07-Oct-2013 (3 years).

Normally, you become eligible for the Final exam after completing 3 years.

That means your first eligible attempt is May 2014 (because CA Final exams happen in May and Nov).

BUT there was a change:
The ICAI allowed PEE-2 students to appear for CA Final exam 12 months before completing articleship. This means if you’ve done 2 years of articleship, you can appear for Final exams early.

So, from 08-Oct-2010, 2 years complete on 07-Oct-2012.

You can attempt Nov 2012 Final exam if you satisfy other conditions.

Summary:

If you qualify under the new PEE-2 rules, you can take your Final attempt in Nov 2012 (12 months before completion).

Otherwise, your normal eligibility is May 2014 after full 3 years.
