24 November 2013 what to do when any any applicant do not know date of birth at the time of applucation of pan card.Applicant is 76 yrs old so they do not remember date of birth and they have document ration card & voter id card but in this documents date of birth is not mention. so now what to doo???

24 November 2013 If he has his horoscope, try to deduce the date from the horoscope.

If he has not got that also, then according to his conscience (Vivek), he may decide one good day of his choice in his year of birth.

Wherein no information is available, you may ask local MLA/MP or a gazetted officer to issue certificate with an approximate date:

"Certificate of identity signed by Member of Parliament or Member of Legislative Assembly or Municipal Councillor or a Gazetted Officer is required to file the same in prescribed format only."
