09 September 2010 If a company at Delhi had done some work on contract basis for a company at Kolkotta & this second party has deducted WCT ,pl confirm how to claim credit of this WCT deducted by Kolkotta party.

10 September 2010 so means while filling Delhi VAT return ,this credit needs to be considered?have to be adjusted against CST liability payable?

10 September 2010 No.The WCT deducted in Kolkata can be adjusted while filing the WCT return in Kolkata VAT department, In WCT there is no concept of Interstate setoff, if you register you in West bengal you can take benefit, other wise this is like expenses only
