08 January 2011 Under Section 80C an assessee can fixed deosit for a term of 5 years with bank, If the deposit is made with co-operative bank is it allowed under this section?

08 January 2011 Deposit in state co-operative banks listed in the second schedule of the Reserve bank of India Act,1934 are covered u/s 80C(2)(xxi)provided the deposit should be under the Bank Term Deposit Scheme,2006.
