I want to know which banks are into Venture Capital and also I want to know in detail about VENTURE CAPITAL.

21 January 2009 Dear Mr. Francis,

Commercial Banks are into venture capital activities.

Venture Capital term denotes that an organisation / firm has project and potential to execute the same but have limited resources. Also the project is into generally sunrise area where the chances of failure if high and there is the risk of loss of money.

In such case the promoter of the company approach a venture capital firm who would fund the project / new activity and inreture take the stake in the company.
