Our principal place of operations are in Mumbai (Maharastra State). Now we intend to move our complete operations from Mumbai to Bangalore. We do have VAT registraion at Mumbai. Now what are the documents required for registering ourself under VAT in Karnataka?

With the following documents you can register under VAT
1. Specifed Registration form 2. Business Nature 3. Address proof 4. Address proof and id proof of Owners of business 5. Places of business 6. List of Goods need to handle 7. Authorised person details, address and id proof 8. Local authority licence
2. Authorised person details, address and ID proof - you mean of all the directors or the one authorised to represent the company with the VAT department.
3. If some of the directors are foreigners - is it sufficient to give the details of Address proof the Indian directors or the address of the foreign directors also need to be given?
Is it required to go thro a consultant or can be approached directly?
