21 January 2012 We have made payment to Mvat on e-payment but selection Period enter date in next year how to correction period of current month & taken benfit to this month pl help

23 January 2012 You can refer to Circular No. 17T of 2011 dated 25 Nov 2011 which states that you need to approach the Sale Tax Officer and state the facts.

23 January 2012 It is a techincal mistake and payment is of a future date which logically cannot happen . The detail Letter is to be submitted to the assessing officer explaining the mistake and the treatment you would like to make. Please be specific and stress upon the fact that it is a genuine error and a technical lapse. Also the letter should request the assessing authority to spell out what is required to be done to rectify the error.
Please note that the giving immediate information is better.
