validity of Subjectwise Exemption in New CA Final Syllabus

Kindly clarify following-

If one secures exemption in one of the subjects in OLD SYLLABUS CA FINAL Exam taken in November 2010, will the subjectwise exemption remain valid in CA FINAL NEW SYLLABUS w.e.f. May 2011 ?
