Can Company transfer its general reserve to the specific reserve, if yes than what is the procedure to convert the same and what compliance to be made as per companies act,1956?

Company can transfer the general reserve to specific reserve through the resolutions in GENERAL meetings.

This can be done in the AGM or EGM by passing a resolution and the reserve can be transferred for the specific purpose.
