Dear Expert,
I have received a notice from income tax office in which they asked me to furnished " Statement of affairs for the year ending 31/03/2009,31/03/2010 and 31/03/2011"
PLz tell me I show only Profit & loss A/c & B/S only or their total books of Account.
My Next query is wheather ITO officer may ask by a simple notice ( without mention any sec over it) to furish their staement of affair, Is this notice is valid

The information be called u/s. 133. Wait for another letter. If wish to file the documents than file balance sheet & not statement of affair. But you must prepare statement of affairs to check if all income is returned.
