Urgent: error in Promoter's name in form 1A

03 September 2010 Hi, this is very urgent

I had filed a form 1A(request for availability of name) for formation of a company. while filing, in the column for "details of promoters", i entered name of the promoter wrong(for example say instead of kishan i mentioned karan) , with correct PAN number( that is of correct promoter in our example kishan). now company name has been approved and am trying to file form 1(application for incorporation of company) and MCA website is not accepting.

Please help me rectify this error. I cannot give NOC as MR karan never existed.

What should i DO.. please help fast

Dear Friend

You generally mention in Form 1 the details of promoters as mentioned in Form 1A. If one of the promoter is no more then you can take NOC of other promoters and includes new promoter, a copy of NOC is required to attached with Form 1.

03 September 2010 Two options can be sought for.
(1). e- mail to MCA help desk stating the facts and seek their help for correction before incorporation.
(2). Waste 60 days. Name will automatically lapse. Then file e-form 1A with correct name of promoter and with the lapsed name. Optional attachment may be given stating the reason for trying again with the already approved and lapsed name.
