06 September 2009 Check whether the closing Balance of The ledger is as per its nature or not. The main areas are all, but more importantly loans & advances and other liabilities as most of the wrong grouping is in those areas only. Also narration plays a very important role as during ledger scrutiny you depend on the naration only.
Also check for TDS compliances in expenses i.e. TDS deduction and under the proper section.
