Unknowingly tds paid inspite of not liable

15 November 2013 Dear sirs,
i ve paid tds deduted on int.paid
after some time my lawyer told that your previous yr. turnover is less than 1 cr.so u r not liable to pay tds.after that 4 months passed.i ve not filled e tds return.lawyer says that wait and iquire some one what to do? so what i ve to do know? pls reply urgently... thanking u.

15 November 2013 In.. any.. case you have to file the TDS return as the TDS deducted and already deposited with the Govt. will be credited to the account of the payee only when you will file the e-TDS return.

15 November 2013 please file the TDS return on or before the due date. once that is done, issue Form 16A (to be downloaded from traces website) to the deductee.

And after that practice caution with regards to TDS deduction.
