Unit closed what about the depreciation on fixed assets

Assessee has 3 units one of the unit has been closed the fixed assets kept at the unit are valued as scrap wheras in the books WDV are at higher value...assessee doesn't want to claim depreciation as it increases the loss of business . What needs to be done?

Dep. has to be claimed ..but i am unable to understand why he don't want to claim Loss !!!
