28 April 2010 I want to know. Can tuition income of Rs. 250000 pa earned by a housewife through pvt tuitions be shown under head 'other sources'???

28 April 2010 I think if she is professinal then tuition income will be shown under 'Business/profession'. but if she is not professinal then tuition income will be shown under 'other sources' head.

29 April 2010 As you say House wife then she has to file her return as business & Profession and get the benefit of tution related expenditures....

06 May 2010 i think show income from business & Profession because teaching is a profession no matter it is in coaching/collage or it is home tuition.
