I want to know. Can tuition income of Rs. 250000 pa earned by a housewife through pvt tuitions be shown under head 'other sources'???

I think if she is professinal then tuition income will be shown under 'Business/profession'. but if she is not professinal then tuition income will be shown under 'other sources' head.

As you say House wife then she has to file her return as business & Profession and get the benefit of tution related expenditures....

i think show income from business & Profession because teaching is a profession no matter it is in coaching/collage or it is home tuition.
