24 May 2012 i want to know whether transfer of articleship is allowed in 1st yr without any restriction? n is it allowed to get transfer in the same city? n what procedure i have to follow? pls reply

25 May 2012 Transfer is allowed only in special cases.

1. Due to transfer of parents to another city.
2. Due to medical problems.
3. Any other relevant reason.

You have to obtain a written permission from the Institute for taking transfer. For this you have to write a letter to the Institute along with the recommendation of your employer.

After transfer you CANNOT continue the articleship within 50 km radius of the present city.

26 May 2012 Oh sorry, missed that. In that case transfer is available but you have to obtain the permission of your principal.
