Transfer of articleship

I have registered my self under direct entry as well as for articleship under a firm 2 month ago, but I want transfer of articleship in my locality now,I have received direct entry registration letter but still not received the articleship registration letter, so what should I do? shall I wait for article registration letter or take transfer?
and what is the procedure of transfer of articleship??

Visit ICAI.org for full details. And Omkar I will suggest to visit ICAI Bhawan with a application in written about ur reg. letter & they will issue a duplicate for u. Without ur Reg. letter u can't take transfer.

normally they take 1-1.5 months for the same but when already 2 months are over it is better make an enquiry by personal visit.
