Transfer of articleship

29 June 2013 Can someone clarify my doubt ?

I want to take transfer of my articleship to another location after one year, how much gap is allowable between the date of end of the previous date and the date of joining the articleship after the transfer from 1st employer?

29 June 2013 No time gap is given in training guide, it will depend on you and availability of article ship.But kept in mind that as per Regulation 50 of the CA Regulations, 1988, a student will be eligible to appear in Final Exam, after completing of 30 months (2 Years and 6 months) of article ship.

30 June 2013 1)first of all you need to take permission form icai to take transfer ..once you received permission from icai you can submit form 109 for transfer...

2)as as said by mishra sir..in training guide no such time gap was notified so you may join with some delay also but your articleship period will be extended for the period of delay which may delays your ca final attempt
