02 August 2025 Hey! About your transfer issue:

* **Yes, only one transfer is generally allowed** during the entire articleship period as per ICAI rules.
* If your current CA has refused your transfer request **before 30th September**, you might have to wait till that date because the transfer window might be restricted until then.
* You can try to talk calmly with your CA and explain your reasons clearly.
* If there’s a genuine ground like medical issues, transfer of parent, or misconduct, ICAI may intervene if you escalate.
* If it’s a personal dispute, ICAI usually asks you and your CA to resolve it mutually.

**What you can do:**

1. Send a written request to your CA explaining your reasons and requesting consent.
2. If refused, write a letter to ICAI regional office with all details.
3. Keep all communication documented.
4. Check if your reason fits in ICAI’s allowed grounds for transfer (like relocation of parents, medical reasons, etc.).
