09 June 2014 i m in 3rd year of my articlship from kolkata.i want to take transfer from my firm on grounds of change in my address.plz anyone explain the criteria for such transfer.can i take transfer in such a way?

09 June 2014 no. the basis should be transfer of your working parent. your own change of address is not sufficient.

10 June 2014 if ur shifting to a place which is outside 50 km of the original firm then icai may grant ur permission as practically it may be difficult for u to continue.
