Dear Experts
I have got notice from CTO.. It contains as per above mention schedule Wooden scrap as taxable.
We have running wooden packing material manufacturing company..In that our edge cutting waste sale as fire wood as per TN VAT act commodity code 727. But tax authorities claim as 2067 scrap and waste of all kinds.
But our product was end use by firewood purpose...
Kindly give me how to claim my position to tax authorities

Show your bills for sale of scarp. If the bills are scrap then you are in trouble but if it is fire wood then no problem
