Due to sudden death in one of my client's family we are not able t submit tds return timely.
please tell me consequences and penalty provisions , whether penalties are optional or compulsory?
what if i submit return of two quaters simultaneously?

Delay filing in TDS return atrtracts Rs.100 per day from the due date and date of filing subject to the tds amount involved in the return
