20 January 2010 I have a problem when i create TDS Return there is massege that is Extension of Challan file should be csi and file could not create.

20 January 2010 You have to download csi file from the site www.tin.nsdl.com, where we confirm the challan details. There is an option for that alongwith the confirm tab button. Save that file to your desktop and give its reference while validating the return.

It is suggested to download the csi file for the period covering the relevant quarter.

20 January 2010 Go to NSDl site, in challan status download the required period file, which is generated as csi.
even without it you can file the return, leave the challan details blank and validate the return

20 January 2010 In www.tin.nsdl.com there is one option " Challan status" in that option you can go to TAN Based view and type your TAN Number and click the option Download the required csi file you can get
