How to prepare TDS return & file it online or softwear? I am selected for the new job in which i have to do TDS efilling but i am not aware of ETDS?
please help me for TDS return filling.

28 July 2025 To download the TDS return filing utility from the NSDL site, here’s a simple step-by-step guide:

1. **Go to the official NSDL TIN website:**
[https://www.tin-nsdl.com](https://www.tin-nsdl.com)

2. On the homepage, under the **“Services”** section, find and click on **“TDS”** or **“TDS/E-TDS”** option.

3. Look for **“Downloads”** or **“Return Preparation Utilities”** (usually in the left menu or under TDS services).

4. Select the relevant **Assessment Year** and **Quarter** for which you want to file the return.

5. Download the **TDS return preparation utility (Excel or Java based)** depending on your preference.

6. Also download the **User Manual** available on the same page for detailed instructions.

7. After preparing the return using the utility, you can upload it on the NSDL TIN portal via the **E-filing section**.
