TDS Refund Cheque returned due to Change in Address

08 April 2011 Dear Expert,
We have recently shifted our office to a new location. Our TDS Refund cheque depatched by Speed Post but unfortunately because of Change in Address it has returned back.

Can anyone suggest what are the procedures to be followed to get back the TDS Refund Cheque?

08 April 2011 i) Send a letter to CMP, State Bank of India at SBIFAST 31, Mahal Industrial Estate, Off Mahakali Caves Road, Andheri East, Mumbai - 400 093, Phone Number: 18004259760, along with the correct postal address to which the refund cheque has to be issued.

ii) Send a copy of the above letter to your Assessing Officer.

iii) Retain a copy of the letter referred above with you.
