08 January 2014 sir, is tds can be treated as advance tax for the assesses for any sort of persons
it may be either for salary, commission, rent and for others

08 January 2014 it is not treated as advance tax as such. however, given that your advance liability is reduced by the TDS deducted against your PAN, in nutshell you dont have to pay any advance tax if equivalent or more amount has been deducted by way of TDS.
