I have a queary of TDS Non Payment..

We have booked TDS :-
Total Invoice Amount :- INR 2493775/-

TDS @2% - U/s 194C :- INR 49875.50/-

By Mistake we have file return in Rs 48896.00

the client is asking for balance tds amount

what is solution of this case ?????/

20 May 2014 U must deposit the balance amount with interest n revise ur return.

20 May 2014 No it is not the amount of ur client it is Government money. How can u give it to ur client. U have done the mistake so u must rectify it.

20 May 2014 what is the last date of TDS Revised return and How mutch amount i will pay extra with interest..

20 May 2014 If the return is deposited within due date then u can revise it.
Interest will b applicable @1.5% for the month of Deduction, month of Delay n month of payment.
