Dear Memebers,
We made a Provision of Salary and Remuneration on 31 march, Is there should be any TDS deduction on provision?

if salary and remuneration payable is exceeding the exemption limits after deducting allowable deductions , you need to deduct TDS while making provisions itself.

Income tax need to be deducted under section 192 on payment basis and not on due basis.

AGREE YOU NEED TO DEDUCT TDS ON SALARIES ON PAYMENT BASIS AND NOT ON DUE BASIS U/S192.
