The gross salary of an individual is 3000*12=36000.Should the payer has to deduct tds on salary and if yes what should be the amount for the pyr 2011-12 and ayr 2012-13.What is the amount of professional tax to be deducted.

TDS need not be deducted becuase the person is below the maximum exemption limit and professional tax need to deducted but the it depends on the state in which he is working.Since salary per month is just Rs.3000 there may not be PT also.
