Hi
I am working in a Govt. Department. The Tax is deducted in March month salary but the same in not appearing in Form 16 provided by the employer. Can anyone advise what is the formality to be followed at the time of filing the IR 1 form.

If the tax is deducted it must be appear in your form 16. you can check in form 26as the credit of TDS.
It is advisable to claim the TDS only when you get the credit either in Form 26as or in Form 16.

right said by expert,
first you need to ask your employer for change in form 16 with attachment of deposit details & also shown tds return acknowledgement receipt no. for Q4 in form 16 , these are the requirements of form 16
and also as per expert said you have to check tds credit also in 26AS statement before filing income tax return
