Dear Experts,
is it mandatory to pay TDS on line or it can be paid thru challan 281. from where i can download challan 281?

As per CBDT Circular No 5/2008 dated July 14,2008 all corporate assessee's and non corporate assessee's covered under tax audit under section 44AB shall pay TDS mandatorily through electronic payment mode.

Whether you pay online or not you are required to fill ITNS 281. You can also deposit by cheque and filling the challan manually. Please download challan from following link----
